The Wedding Invitation: A Celebration of your Love & Style
Set the tone of your wedding with an invitation that matches your theme and colours. Whether it's an event of lavish formality, or a celebration of quiet elegance, you'll find an invitation to suit your theme perfectly! You may also choose wording that reflects your style. Mail your invitation 6-8 weeks before your wedding date. We recommend that you order at least 25 extra invitation to allow for any addressing errors or last minute additions.

The Wedding Announcement: A Beautiful Way to Share Your News
If your circle of friends and relatives is larger than the number of guests you are able to invite to your wedding celebration, send announcements to spread your joyous news. Announcements should be mailed immediately following your wedding, on the same day if possible.

Envelopes: A Formal Tradition That Endures With Elegance
For centuries, important invitations and announcements have been presented in double envelopes. Since that tradition is still an important element of your wedding invitation, most of our selections include both inner and outer envelopes.

Inner Envelopes
Your invitation or announcement is first placed in an inner envelope. This envelope is not sealed and is addressed by hand with name only. All family members should be included, however it is best not to use the words "and family". Instead list all guests' names, keeping in mind that names of children may be spelled out, for example "Molly and Tristan," and written below parents' names in order of age. Feel free to address close relatives informally, ex. Aunt Leslie. Show your unique style by adding a luxurious coloured liner.

Outer Envelopes
Inner envelopes are placed in slightly larger outer envelopes. These envelopes should be sealed and fully addressed for mailing. Envelopes should not be typed, but written by hand in your most elegant penmanship. Your return address may be printed on the flaps of your outer envelopes ensuring the return of undeliverable mail.

Envelope Seals: A Beautiful Finishing Touch
Add a perfect finishing touch to your wedding Stationary. Little touches make big impressions. The glimmer of a gold or silver seal on your envelope sets the stage for elegance inside. A large selection of designer or monogram seals are available. For the ultimate in style, select personalized seals.

The Reply Stationary: For Planning The Perfect Wedding
Response cards included in your invitation provide an elegant and easy way for guests to let you know whether or not they will attend. Knowing how many guests will be attending your wedding helps you plan costly reception details. Reply cards include reply envelopes printed with your name, address and postal code so guests can easily mail their reply to you. The reply date is usually 2 to 3 weeks before the wedding date. It is considered a common courtesy to include a stamp on your R.S.V.P. envelope.

The Reception Card: Your Guests' Ticket to Excitement
Enclosed with your invitation, reception cards invite guests to the celebration that follows the ceremony. Reception cards should indicate the time and place of the event. These cards do not require a separate envelope. An additional card may be enclosed inviting intimate friends and family to a wedding breakfast or gift opening.

Informal Card as Thank You: For A Perfectly Coordinated Stationary
Coordinate thank you notes perfectly with your invitations, order informal cards as thank you notes.

Informal Card: Make Every Message Personal
Use informal cards for your wedding-related correspondence, such as thanking guests for their attendance or gifts or sending a message to a friend who couldn't attend. Informal cards are perfect for correspondence long after your wedding.

Thank You Notes: Express Your Gratitude Beautifully
Tell guests how much you appreciated their attendance and gifts by sending lovely thank you notes.

Wedding Programs: Follow The Ceremony With Ease
Lovely programs introduce your wedding party and provide your guests with the order of service.

Maps Cards
A map card guides guests to the location of the vent.

Rules of Etiquette

Issued By
Invitations are issued by the parents of the bride; or by the surviving parent; or, if the bride is an orphan, by the nearest relative.

Received By
Adult members of a family and everyone over eighteen should receive separate invitations , whether they still live with their parents or not.

Envelopes
Two envelopes are used with wedding invitations and announcements. The invitation or announcement and accompanying cards (reception, response cards etc.) Are first enclosed in an inner envelope which has no glue on the flap. Guests' names are written on the front of the inner envelope (no address). The invitation or announcement is inserted into the inner envelope folded edge first. The inner envelope is then placed within the outer envelope with its flap facing the front of the outer envelope. The outer envelope is addressed for mailing. Envelopes should always be written out by hand in black ink.

Mailing
Invitations are mailed no more than six to eight weeks in advance of the wedding date.

Addresses
Addresses of churches, clubs, or public buildings are usually omitted because such addresses are considered superfluous. However, a street address may be shown below the name of the church or club if such an address is considered necessary for better direction.

Customer Testimonials
"The staff at the store were amazing. I had not placed an order to rent the helium tank, but there was one available in store. The staff were exceptional. On the day of the event there was a wedding at our facility, and the Cody Party Palace staff was able to bring back the tank for me. Great service!" - Jill
